Is it necessary to use Gradio?

While Gradio is a convenient tool to create the chatbot UI, we found that its core functionality excessively sends inferences to our LLM API. Since my team is on the free tier we're rate limited and our Gradio instance keeps erroring out due to 429's.
Is the use of Gradio to make a UI compulsory?
